Function
The Ideal Tarp Size
This hybrid style tarp provides a large rectangle-shaped usable area while maintaining an ideal mid-size hexagon footprint.
Attractive and Practical
While maintaining an ideal wide effective area, the gentle curves of the ridgeline and the sharp lines leading to the 4 wings have been designed to create a beautiful silhouette that shines in nature.
The Perfect Fabric
The body of the tent is composed of fabrics that follow the direction of pull so it can easily be set up by anyone. We also made sure to minimize the unnatural pulls on the fabrics (bias direction) to keep it looking good all the time.
Protection from the Sun and the Rain
With a design that drops the four corners close to the ground, it’s easy to find protection from the sun or rain. In addition, this design improves the flow of rain off the shelter. It’s like killing 3 birds with 1 stone.
Polyurethane Coating for Light-shielding
The back of the tent fly is coated in light-shielding polyurethane (usually transparent). By applying this coating, the gap between the seams are filled which reduces the transmission of sunlight so you can relax and stay cool, even in the heat of the summer.
Additional Tarp Tail
Includes a tarp tail (long tape) that allows you to overlap a tent and a tarp. It’s especially convenient when you need to set up where space is limited.
Lantern/Light Hanger
When the tarp tail is not being used, it can also be used as a light/lantern hanger. Pass the tarp tail between the main poles and hang a lantern/light from the three rings on the tape.
Light Weight and Small
Silicone polyester is light and compact which makes it easy to carry and load in a car.
FABRIC
This tent is made of durable Ripstop Polyester fabric. By adding a layer of silicone on the front surface and polyurethane (PU) on the back surface, a high level of tear-resistance and waterproof performance has been achieved. Compared to the commonly used fluorine treatment of materials used in ordinary tents, shelters, and tarps the silicone treatment has the added benefits of significantly increasing tear-resistance and fabric penetration ricks. It is possible to have both a thing and lightweight fabric that is also strong and durable. Water-resistant to 1,500 mm for both 50D and 75D.
Fluorine coating only affects the surface of a fabric, so it adds nothing to the strength of the fabric, but our silicone treatment penetrates the fabric and has the added benefit of significantly increasing its tear resistance.
